The Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer system is an innovative, simple and inexpensive kitchen tool that allows you to quickly and easily remove air from the Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags.

Using a simple, non-electric handheld pump and a Ziploc® Brand Vacuum bag, you can protect your bag's contents from air, preserving its appearance and protecting it from freezer burn. And the trusted Ziploc® Brand seal lets you know the bag will stay sealed.

The Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer System is easy to use. There are no batteries to replace. Nothing to recharge. Stores easily in your bag drawer.

Time Saving. Because you can store the Ziploc® Brand Vacuum System with your other Ziploc® Brand Bags, it takes no time to grab it and use it! No recharging, plugging in or changing batteries!

Bags not rolls. Ziploc® Brand Vacuum System uses pre-made quart and gallon bags so no fussing with rolls of plastic. And because they have the Ziploc® Brand seal, contents can be removed and the bag resealed.

No counter space required. Ziploc® Brand Vacuum System is compact, easy to clean and requires the same drawer or counter space as a kitchen whisk.

Intuitive design. The Ziploc® Brand Vacuum System requires no electricity and no batteries. It is easy to use, clean and store. And the Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags are multilayered, which offer barrier protection against freezer burn.

To use:

1. Fill bag, lay flat, squeeze air out, press end of zipper and slide fingers all the way across zipper to seal.
2. Place pump over valve on bag.
3. Use pump to easily remove air from the bag until bag conforms tightly around food.

IMPORTANT: Always follow proper food preparation and storage guidelines. Vacuum packaging is NOT a substitute for proper food storage such as refrigeration or freezing. Always thaw perishable foods in refrigerator or microwave, not at room temperature.

Blanch vegetables and pre-freeze fruits before packaging. To avoid drawing liquids into pump during vacuum sealing, pre-freeze moist or juicy foods before packaging. Not recommended for liquids (like soups, sauces) or powdery foods or items containing small particles. Use caution when sealing items with sharp edges (like pasta) which could puncture bag. Do not overfill bag.

Remember to clean the pump after every use. To clean pump:

1. Clean after every use.
2. Unscrew top of pump.
3. Remove top handle from tube.
4. Place in dishwasher or hand wash.
5. Allow to dry completely before reassembling.

Tips for use:

• Ensure that the bag is completely sealed by sliding your finger across the complete length of the zipper. If the bag does not appear to be completely sealed, simply open the bag and seal again.
• Foods that are powdery or contain small particles (i.e., salt, sugar, spices, crumbs, etc.) can potentially clog the valve on the bag. Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags are not designed for use with these types of foods. • Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags are designed for freezer storage only. For storage in your pantry, we recommend Ziploc® Brand Storage Bags

Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags are made with specially developed multi-layered plastic, designed to promote the removal of practically all the air from the bag. In addition, the Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer bag has a special one way air valve that, together with the handheld pump, removes the air and keeps it out, to protect your food from freezer burn.

We recommend using Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags for freezer use only.

Yes. You will still want to use Ziploc® Brand Freezer and Storage Bags for most of your food and nonfood storage needs. The Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags are designed to keep your foods fresh longer and keep almost all the air out.

No. Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags are not recommended for storing liquids or liquid based foods.

No. Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags are not designed to withstand the extreme heat of boiling.

Yes. Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags may be used for microwave defrosting. When defrosting, always open the zipper one inch to vent.

CAUTION: For use in microwave, place bag on a "microwave safe" dish. Handle with care. Bag and contents may be hot. Do not overheat contents as bag may melt. Do not use in conventional ovens

To avoid cross-contamination of foods, we do not recommend that Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags be reused.

Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags are made of a combination of plastics, designed especially to conform around the bag’s contents and to provide protection while freezing.

No. The Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer system uses a simple, dishwasher-safe, handheld pump. No wasting time or energy with batteries, screws, rolls of plastic or replacement parts.

Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Freezer Bags are available in two sizes – both Quart (7 3/16 in x 7 9/16 in) and Gallon (10 7/16 in x 10 15/16 in) sizes. Bags can be purchased in three different packages:
