Are Ziploc® evolve™ Bags recyclable?
Ziploc® Brand Bags are made from Polyethylene Plastic Resin #4. It is recyclable in the few communities that accept Polyethylene Plastic Resin #4. The outer box is made from recycled paperboard (minimum 35% post-consumer content) and is recyclable.
What exactly do you mean by wind energy? What are its benefits?
Wind energy is simply electricity generated by wind turbines. It is a clean source of energy that does not emit any greenhouse gasses to the atmosphere.
Can Ziploc® evolve™ Bags be used in the oven or on the stove?
Ziploc® evolve™ Bags are not recommended for use in the oven or on the stove.
Are Ziploc® evolve™ Bags safe to use in the microwave?
For Storage Gallon and Quart, please follow the cautionary statements on the product packaging. Ziploc® evolve™ Sandwich Bags are not recommended for use in the microwave.
What uses are recommended for Ziploc® evolve™ Bags?
We recommend that you use Ziploc® evolve™ Bags in your daily life. For example, use Ziploc® evolve™ Sandwich Bags to pack your child’s lunch. Or use Ziploc® evolve™ Storage Bags to store the leftovers from last night’s dinner. Ziploc® evolve™ Bags provide the same food freshness that you expect from Ziploc®.
Are Ziploc® Brand evolve™ Bags kosher?

While Ziploc® evolve™ Bags are still made of plastic, they are better for the environment than comparable bags partially due to the reduction in plastic. By purchasing Ziploc® evolve™ Bags, you are putting less plastic into our landfills and using less of our Earth’s limited resources.
How were Ziploc® evolve™ Bags made with 25 percent less plastic? Is there 25 percent less material, or is the plastic replaced with something else?
Ziploc® evolve™ Bags were designed using 25 percent less material, and the material was reformulated to give the performance you expect from Ziploc®. Ziploc® evolve™ Bags provide the same freshness protection as the Ziploc® Brand Bags you are familiar with.
Do Ziploc® evolve™ Bags work as well as other Ziploc® products?
Yes, they are designed for similar uses as traditional Ziploc® Sandwich and Storage Bags. They also feature the same quality seal and freshness protection you expect from Ziploc®.
Are Ziploc® evolve™ Bags better for the environment than other Ziploc® products?
We had a third-party agency conduct a life cycle assessment (LCA) to evaluate the environmental impact of Ziploc® evolve™ Bags. From the LCA it was concluded that Ziploc® evolve™ Bags are better for the environment than comparable plastic bags like Ziploc®. Since Ziploc® evolve™ Bags use 25 percent less plastic and are produced using wind energy, the overall environmental footprint of these bags is reduced.
If Ziploc® evolve™ Bags really work, why do you still make your regular Ziploc® products? Are you eventually going to make the entire line with less plastic? When?
