As the makers of Ziploc® Brand products, we’re committed to creating a more sustainable future for generations to come. That’s why we’ve created Ziploc® evolve® Sandwich and Storage Bags. These ultra-light bags are made with 25 percent less plastic than regular Ziploc® Brand Bags of equivalent size and are manufactured at a factory powered by up to 50 percent wind power.
Made from a new resin blend using 25 percent less plastic than regular Ziploc® Brand Bags of equivalent size. Using less plastic means using fewer limited resources to make our bags.
Manufactured at a factory powered by up to 50 percent renewable wind energy. We’ve partnered with a wind energy supplier to support renewable wind energy. Every year, we purchase approximately 50 percent of the estimated energy involved in manufacturing Ziploc® evolve® in the form of renewable energy to be put back on the electrical grid. Actual wind energy delivered could vary due to weather conditions, but is not anticipated to be any less than 45 percent of the Ziploc® evolve® manufacturing facility's total energy consumption.
Manufactured with less energy. Using less energy is a step toward reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Packaged in a 100 percent recycled paperboard carton, with a minimum of 35 percent postconsumer content. Using recycled paperboard means conserving more trees.
Secure seal, proven freshness. Ziploc® evolve® Sandwich and Storage Bags are ultra-light, but feature the same tight, secure Ziploc® Brand seal as our regular bags, so you can be sure your food stays protected and fresh.
