Recycled ski wax
I use the Ziploc containers to store cross country ski wax after scraping it off. Then when the need arises, i melt the wax in the microwave and apply directly to the skis.

Keeping paint handy
I am an artist who custom designs kids'rooms, and frequently paint in others' homes. I work with many colors of paint, and carting the original paint cans is not practical. I have been using Ziploc storage containers for this purpose for years now. I also mix most of my colors myself, and they work great for that purpose, too.

Storing doll-making ideas
I make art dolls, and sometimes the ideas come faster than the time to make them up. Once I come up with an idea, I put the sketch, fabric and trinkets in a Ziploc Bag...ready to be born when the time is right!!!

Keeping signs dry
Several times I have printed out "for sale" signs from my computer only to have them ruined by moisture. This time, after printing them, I put each one in a Ziploc Freezer Bag and taped them to the car windows. The signs stayed in pristine condition for several weeks until the car sold.

Keeping the right bolts together
When I am takeing some thing apart that has bolts and screws I place them in side a Ziploc bag and mark on the bag what the parts are used for. That way all parts are all together and easyer to put together the next time.

Organized crafting
I do a lot of crafts with lace and ribbon. I find the snack size Ziploc bags are great for storing yardage of gathered and flat lace.Just roll the lace around your hand and place inside bag. Keeps it neatly roll and clean at the same time. The sandwich sizes I use for three and four inch eyelet lace.

Keeping Play-doh moist
Snack size bags are great for storing "Play-doh". There's no losing lids to containers, and the dough stays moist. They can be flattened and stacked on a shelf or in a small bin.

Making fun scrap books
Recently we celebrated the Week of the Young Child in our community. We used the Ziploc Sandwich Bags and the kids made a project. We used duct tape on the side that didn't zip and used three bags to hold them together like a small scrap book. The kids drew pictures, about their family and inserted in each page. Kids loved it and were very creative.

Jewelry-making made easy
I use the bags to hold my beads and beading wire to make jewelry. They work well and are inexpensive. I also use the clear hard plastic containers for office supplies.

Message on a bag
After I buy a box of Ziploc Bags, I use permanent markers to write encouraging messages to my kids. I use the written bags to pack lunches. My kids love reading the "notes" from home, and I don't have to waste any paper. Sometimes my artistic husband gets in on the game by adding pictures or decorations!
