Making fun scrap books
Recently we celebrated the Week of the Young Child in our community. We used the Ziploc Sandwich Bags and the kids made a project. We used duct tape on the side that didn't zip and used three bags to hold them together like a small scrap book. The kids drew pictures, about their family and inserted in each page. Kids loved it and were very creative.

Jewelry-making made easy
I use the bags to hold my beads and beading wire to make jewelry. They work well and are inexpensive. I also use the clear hard plastic containers for office supplies.

Keeping erasers fresh
To keep erasers from drying out and becoming hard and useless, store them in a Ziploc Bag. I am an artist and have many kinds of erasers. They stay useable for several years instead of a few months if i keep them in a Ziploc Bag.

Making greeting cards
When I get ideas for making cards but I might not have time to make the project, I put the pieces in a Ziploc Bag with instructions or a website link. When making the same card, I put the "production line" in different Ziploc Bags. I make notes on the outside of each bag with measurements, names of paper colors, etc. Also, after I take a card class, I keep the examples and instructions in a ziploc.

Protected sewing patterns
I use the gallon bags for sewing patterns that I have opened and used. The patterns are hard to refold to the original size. Just put the pattern envelope in the bag face up and put the pattern pieces and notes about the notions you used and seal it. They stay together and the pattern pieces don't get ripped, torn or worn.

Squishy fun with colors
I use the quart and gallon storage bags for an easy sensory/art project for toddlers and preschoolers. Put shaving cream and different colors of food coloring in a bag and seal it. The kids squish it around and watch the colors mix and change. It's a great way to teach colors & have fun without getting messy hands!

Holidays & Entertaining

Organized greeting cards
I have long used the quart size Freezer Bags to sort and store greeting cards: Birthday, Halloween, Easter Etc. Since my mother and I rubber stamp, the snack bags are prefect for storing those small snip-its of papers and ribbons, etc. used for decorating cards.

Storing doll-making ideas
I make art dolls, and sometimes the ideas come faster than the time to make them up. Once I come up with an idea, I put the sketch, fabric and trinkets in a Ziploc Bag...ready to be born when the time is right!!!

Organized crafting
I do a lot of crafts with lace and ribbon. I find the snack size Ziploc bags are great for storing yardage of gathered and flat lace.Just roll the lace around your hand and place inside bag. Keeps it neatly roll and clean at the same time. The sandwich sizes I use for three and four inch eyelet lace.
