Grandma's wipes
When I am taking my grandchildren out and have to pack a diaper bag I take paper towels, wet them, add some Johnson's Baby Soap and remove the excess water. I then fold the towels neatly and put them in a sandwich bag with the all of the air taken out. I have just created my own baby wipe.

Keeping signs dry
Several times I have printed out "for sale" signs from my computer only to have them ruined by moisture. This time, after printing them, I put each one in a Ziploc Freezer Bag and taped them to the car windows. The signs stayed in pristine condition for several weeks until the car sold.

Message on a bag
After I buy a box of Ziploc Bags, I use permanent markers to write encouraging messages to my kids. I use the written bags to pack lunches. My kids love reading the "notes" from home, and I don't have to waste any paper. Sometimes my artistic husband gets in on the game by adding pictures or decorations!

Making fun scrap books
Recently we celebrated the Week of the Young Child in our community. We used the Ziploc Sandwich Bags and the kids made a project. We used duct tape on the side that didn't zip and used three bags to hold them together like a small scrap book. The kids drew pictures, about their family and inserted in each page. Kids loved it and were very creative.

Storing paint brushes and rollers
Ziploc Bags are perfect for me when I am painting. The large ones are great for sealing up a paint roller in between coats instead of washing it or using a new one. I hate washing rollers and will not throw one away. This also works with paint brushes. I usually store them in the refrigerator after sealing in the ziplock.
