Organized nails
I use the sandwich sized bags to store small lots of nails. I punch a hole in the left top of a bag and then hang it on a peg on a pegboard. The nails are then visible, accessible, and remain rust-free. No more tin can scramble to find the right nail for the job. Ziploc saves the day!

Keeping linens clean

Entertainment in a bag
I do a lot of waiting in the car for my daughter as she attends her lessons, etc. I've learned to always carry two items with me...my Walkman and a book. I used to toss both in my purse before leaving the door, but soon got tired of tanging the headphone cords with my brush or comb. I found that using a bag keeps everything neat, tidy and untangled.

Christmas lights without the tangles
Today I was taking down our christmas decorations. I always have a challenge with storing the lights because of them getting tangled and broken when I thought of storing each strand in its own gallon bag. To my surprise each strand fit perfectly and also made organizing each storage box very easy. I liked how well the lights were stored I also put each strand of garland in their own bag. Organized kids' outfits
I have 3 small children so sorting laundry is a hassle, much less getting ready in the morning. I've started putting 1 complete outfit in a gallon size Ziploc and it's made my mornings so much easier. I pick out their bag and it's got everything from socks to underwear in it. I then give these clothes to the kids. It makes everything a snap....or should I say I Zip through the morning?

Organized classrooms
As an elementary school teacher boy do I have a lot of uses for a Ziploc Bag besides the traditional uses. Example: When teaching multiplication I place a specific amount of marbles in each bag and hand them out to a certain amount of kids and have them figure out the total amount. 3 kids with a Ziploc with 5 marbles. How many marbles in all/ And as for storing alphabet letter in you smaller bags or posters in your lager bag what can I say but thank you Ziploc for organizing my classroom and making classes fun! Making greeting cards
When I get ideas for making cards but I might not have time to make the project, I put the pieces in a Ziploc Bag with instructions or a website link. When making the same card, I put the "production line" in different Ziploc Bags. I make notes on the outside of each bag with measurements, names of paper colors, etc. Also, after I take a card class, I keep the examples and instructions in a ziploc.

Easy quilting
When I cut out a quilt top, I use the bags to keep all the different size pieces organized. I label the bag with the sizes inside the bag. When I need a certain size I don't have to go through all of the pieces, just pull out the proper bag and the piece I need to make my quilt block. It's really great to have these for classes where precutting the pieces is required, it works much better than pinning labels with the size to each stack of pieces.

Bread that's ready to bake
I got tired of having to gather and measure ingredients, then wash dishes when making bread in my bread maker. I now measure all the dry ingredients (except yeast) for a single loaf of bread and put into a Ziploc Storage Bag. I make up 10-20 of these. When I want to bake bread, I just add water and yeast and there is no mess to clean up!

Protected sewing patterns
I use the gallon bags for sewing patterns that I have opened and used. The patterns are hard to refold to the original size. Just put the pattern envelope in the bag face up and put the pattern pieces and notes about the notions you used and seal it. They stay together and the pattern pieces don't get ripped, torn or worn.

Protecting precious memories

Keeping puzzles organized
I use the Ziploc Storage Bags for puzzles. Cut out the picture from the front of the box and put it inside the bag along with the puzzle pieces. The cardboard boxes never last very long and they take up so much room. This is an easy way to keep all the pieces together.

Keeping photos handy

Garbage without the smell

Shiny silver
