I Love the freezer Ziploc bags because when i make my spaghetti sauce i make a great big cooker of it at one time, I fill a gallon freezer bag of sauce lay it flat to cool and then place them in my freezer stacked on top of each other to freeze, it saves on freezer space and costly containers. My favorite use for Ziploc Sandwich Bags is to use them to make individual hamburger patties and store them in the freezer. I insert about 1/4 lb. of ground beef in a Ziploc Sandwich Bag, squeeze out the air, and seal. Then working from the outside of the bag, I roll the beef into a ball, then gently flatten it out. The pattie forms inside the bag, my hands stay clean, and it is sealed and ready for the freezer in seconds! Since we don't store the patties for very long in the freezer, the Ziploc Sandwich Bags offer plenty of protection; however, one could use Ziploc Freezer Bags instead.
