Preventing coffee leaks
My daily commute is via a 2mile bike ride to work. As an avid coffee drinker, I have struggled with an adequate way to get my coffee to work with me, without spilling into my bag. Everyday, for the last 5months, I have put my coffee thermos (which leaks) into a gallon Ziploc Bag. Thanks to this bag, which has held up remarkably well for 5 months of service, my papers and back were spared from spilled coffee.

Food for the fish
When my husband and I went snorkeling on a Caribbean cruise, we used Ziploc Bags to feed the fish! At breakfast we snatched a few rolls from the buffet and sealed them up in the Ziploc sandwich size bags. Once in the water we were able to keep the rolls from getting wet and mushy until we were ready to attract and feed the fish. There were thousands of them - all hungry for fresh bread, thanks to Ziploc!

Travelling with medications
I use the snack bags for my medications when we are traveling. Instead of carrying a lot of bottles, I put what I need to take in a snack bag and then I can just throw it out when I'm done. I do that with morning, evening, and bedtime medications. Then I know if I've taken what I am suppose to everyday.

Picking up after the dog
We find the the sandwich bags are just the right size to carry with us when we take our Basenjis for a walk. They turn inside out right over our hand, we can pick up after the dogs, pull the bags off of our hands and zip it closed. Unlike the other walkers who are carrying big grocery bags, ours are compact and sealed. Thank you for the convenience.

Cool It
With a little planning, the whole family can enjoy nutritious foods throughout the day while enjoying outdoor activities. Before heading out to campgrounds, the beach or the park, pack your cooler with fresh treats for the family. Make cooler space count by organizing like-items together, such as sandwiches on the left and fruits and veggies on the right to maximize space and make finding treats a snap. Finally, add in sunscreen and a spray bottle filled with water. They’ll feel refreshing to the skin and keep the whole family sunburn free and feeling cool on a warm day.

Storing camping gear
I love the Big Bags for camping trips. We just put all of our linens, clothes, and blankets in them. When we are done camping for the year, I wash everything and put a fabric softner sheet back in the bag with everything, and next year, everything is clean, fresh and ready to go! Even after being stored all winter.

Organized fishing
As an avid fisher, my husband and I put four rubber worms in each snack size Ziploc bag. This way we don't have to carry a large package of worms, giving us color variety and the colors don't blend together. We can also add fish scent to the bags we want scented. They will marinate in the scent until time to use. Helps keep a neat tackle box.

Ketchup on the go
Place ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc. in separate Ziploc Bags. This saves space in the cooler instead of having to cart around large containers of each, but the best part is that when you are ready to use, simply snip off a small piece of a corner and squeeze onto your food item. If you need to reseal while at an event, make sure you have a few of the butterfly clips on hand. You can get them from any office supply store.

Entertainment in a bag
I do a lot of waiting in the car for my daughter as she attends her lessons, etc. I've learned to always carry two items with me...my Walkman and a book. I used to toss both in my purse before leaving the door, but soon got tired of tanging the headphone cords with my brush or comb. I found that using a bag keeps everything neat, tidy and untangled.

Keeping cameras dry
Last week, I went rafting on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, Texas. I wanted to take my new digital camera to get some pictures of the river, since it is usually tame enough to tube on. I put my digital camera in a quart size freezer bag inside my purse (which was belted around my waist)because I thought I might get splashed! Never did I think that I would be flipped out of the raft into rough rapids and water over my head. But that's what happened. I am happy to say that I did not drown, and my camera was dry as a bone inside the Ziploc Bag after taking an accidental dive into the raging Guadalupe River! My digital camera is as good as new because Ziploc Bags really do not leak! I don't advise this manuever just to test them, but I'm sold!

Protecting car mirrors from ice
We live out in the country in WV and can get some pretty icy days and nights in the winter. One of the tricks that my husband does is put Ziploc Bags on the outside mirrors on our truck. It works great! We have never had to scrape our mirrors.
